No. We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all new fencing projects.

Yes. We recommend being on-site during your estimate to review details, answer questions, and ensure there’s no delay in finalizing your project.

We recommend checking your HOA guidelines and local city ordinances beforehand. Much of this information is available online, but our team can also guide you through common township requirements if needed.

We offer estimate appointments Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Need an early morning or evening time? Just ask—we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

A copy of your plat of survey is essential. This document confirms your property lines, which helps us create an accurate and detailed quote.

HOAs, Surveys, and Permits

Yes. To avoid property line disputes and ensure legal compliance, a current boundary survey is strongly recommended before any installation.

No. Mortgage surveys often contain disclaimers advising against their use for construction projects, such as fence installations. Always use a full boundary survey.

You may be able to find a copy in your home’s closing documents, or you can request one from your local county records office.

You can hire a licensed land surveyor to complete a new boundary survey. If you need help finding one, we’re happy to suggest reputable local companies.

Request a full boundary survey that clearly marks property lines. Avoid surveys labeled as “mortgage location reports.”

Some towns and cities require a permit for installing a fence. Check with your local municipality early in the planning process to avoid delays.

Fence permit fees typically range from $25 to $35, but costs vary by town. Contact your city hall or building department for exact pricing.

Typically, you’ll need:

  • A copy of your boundary survey with fence placement outlined
  • A signed fence contract
  • Photos or specifications of the fence style you’ve chosen

HOA approvals typically take 14 to 30 days. City permits vary but usually take 1–2 weeks, depending on the municipality.
