Preparing for Installation
Getting ready for your new fence is just as important as the installation itself. Here’s everything you need to know before Everlast Fence arrives at your property.
What to Expect During Installation
We typically install fences about 6 to 12 inches inside the property line. However, we can adjust placement based on your specific preferences or township guidelines.
Most residential fence installations are completed within a single day, depending on the project’s size and complexity.
Installing fence posts creates extra dirt. You’ll have a few options:
- We can remove it from your property
- We can relocate it to another area you specify
- We can leave it neatly around the fence line
Discuss your preference with your fence consultant during your estimate.
Everlast Fence will handle contacting public utility companies to mark underground lines. Homeowners are responsible for marking or notifying us of any private utilities, such as sprinkler systems, gas lines to grills or pools, or invisible dog fences.
To help your project run smoothly, we ask that you:
- Clearly mark all private utilities before installation day
- Remove any debris, landscaping, or decorations near the installation area
- Secure any pets away from the work zone for their safety and ours
